Social Media Image—The Pace of the Season

I love the holidays—the gatherings, the sparkle, most of all the gatherings of family. But even for me, there are times when the pace gets to be too much. I have to refocus on what's important and take a breather from all the chaos.

So I'm curious.
How do you cope with the pace of the season?

  1. Edie, I like to think I cope with the pace of the season by not taking on more than I can manage. And because I take medication for a bipolar condition, which fortunately keeps me feeling stable, there are times when I simply excuse myself from an activity and read, get online, or take a nap. This year our Christmas card, letter and photo will be a week later arriving in mailboxes and that is okay. That is because our Sunday night book discussion group wants to come to my husband's and my place for a Christmas get-together tomorrow night. My best wishes for a beautiful season of joy to you and your readers.
